Research Sandwell is the principal provider of research and intelligence support to Sandwell Council and it's Partners.
We work to support and challenge the policy and decision-making processes of the Council and its partners through the provision and use of high quality intelligence.

Whilst Research Sandwell continues to provide help and guidance on research and consultation projects, the main aim of the team is to deliver a Local Intelligence System (known as Sandwell Trends) for Sandwell Council and it's Partners.

• A data warehouse which stores detailed data that can be interrogated by users.
• Tools such as mapping and charting are also available.
• Topic pages which provide easy access to data of interest.
• Briefing notes on various topics, including research methodology.
• Tools to allow comparison with other areas.
